She listened to Coldplay
as she drove down a deserted
highway on a hot summer night.
And she found that the tears
streamed down her face, because
she was stuck in reverse.
Swiping furiously at the salty tracks,
she shook away thoughts of yesterday
and let the lights guide her home...
or wherever they wanted to take her.
